For karate, judo, BJJ and taekwondo academies

Martial arts academy management system for the MENA region

Praxella runs a martial arts academy from one place: the students on the mat, the belt each one wears, the classes they have attended since their last promotion, and what every family owes. We set it up around your disciplines and your rules, move your students in from Excel, and keep it running for you.

01 · Belts

A belt ladder for every discipline

Karate, judo, BJJ and taekwondo do not share one belt order, so Praxella does not force one on you. Each discipline you teach gets its own ladder, from white through the coloured belts to the black belt degrees. Belt names are written in Arabic, English and French, and you can rename a belt, change the order, add a rank or retire one you no longer award, without touching your other disciplines.

Every promotion is recorded with the discipline, the belt before, the belt after, the date and the coach who awarded it. When a parent asks how long their son has been a green belt, the answer is in the promotion history instead of an old notebook.

  • A separate ladder for each discipline
  • Belt names in Arabic, English and French
  • Every promotion kept with its date and coach
02 · Promotions

Promotion rules your coaches can see

Each belt carries two thresholds: the minimum time a student must spend at the current belt, and the minimum number of classes attended since the last promotion. Praxella counts both from the attendance your coaches already take in class, so nobody adds them up by hand at the end of the term.

On the coach’s class roster, every student shows as eligible or not yet, beside their count toward the next belt. The decision stays with your instructors: Praxella never promotes anyone on its own. When a coach promotes a student, the new belt appears on their file and in the parent’s app.

  • Time at the belt and classes attended, counted for you
  • Eligible or not yet, on the coach’s roster
  • Every promotion is a coach’s decision
03 · Parents

Parents follow the belt, not a WhatsApp thread

Parents sign in to the member app on their own phone. For each child they see the current belt, the promotions so far, recent attendance and the week’s classes. A student with their own login also sees how many classes they have attended toward the next belt, and which belt that is.

A family with two or three children on the mat sees them all under one parent account, with one combined balance. The app installs from the browser on any phone, so nobody waits for an app store.

  • Current belt and promotion history for every child
  • Attendance and the weekly schedule, per child
  • One account and one balance for the whole family
04 · The academy day

From the first trial class to black belt

A parent asks about kids’ karate at the desk or through your academy’s website. The request lands in your leads pipeline, you book a trial class, and once the child joins, the first bill covers only the sessions left in the month. The child then appears on the coach’s roster for every class they are registered in.

If your academy runs its own fight nights, an optional module records the bouts, the results and your athletes’ licences, and can publish the fight card on your academy’s website. It stays switched off until you need it.

  • Website requests and walk-ins in one pipeline
  • The first bill prorated by the sessions left
  • Fight cards and athlete licences, once switched on

Questions

Questions from martial arts academies.

Can each discipline have its own belt system?

Yes. Every discipline has its own ladder, so karate, judo, BJJ and taekwondo each keep their own belt order and names. Changing one ladder never changes another.

Does Praxella promote students automatically?

No. It counts the classes each student attended and the time at the current belt, and shows them as eligible or not yet. A coach decides and records every promotion.

Can parents see their child’s belt progress?

Yes. In the member app a parent sees each child’s current belt, past promotions, recent attendance and weekly classes, with one balance for the family.

Does it work for kids’ classes and adult classes in the same academy?

Yes. Children are linked to a parent account and adults sign in for themselves. Each class keeps its own schedule, coach and monthly fee.

Can you move our students from Excel?

Yes. Moving your data is part of setting you up: students, parents, classes and balances, checked with you before you go live.

See it on your own classes and prices.

What do you run?
